Building Mates, Building Memories

About Us
At Next Level Mates, we’re redefining what support work can be. Our mission is simple — to create meaningful connections, build real-life skills, and help our clients thrive both socially and independently.
We specialise in two key areas:
-
Youth with Behavioural Challenges – Led by Jed Warrin, this service focuses on male youth under 25 who need strong, positive male role models. We provide mentoring, structured activities, and community engagement to help build resilience, independence, and pathways into the workforce.
-
Social Connection for People with Disabilities – Led by Hayden Elliot, this service supports clients of all ages who are seeking friendship, community, and new experiences. Through one-on-one support and regular group activities, we help clients create lasting social circles and enjoy a vibrant, active lifestyle.
While each of us leads our own area, we work together to ensure every client has access to both services when needed. At Next Level Mates, it’s more than just support work — it’s about building mates and building memories!

Group Activities
At Next Level Mates, our group activities are all about bringing likeminded males together to build real friendships while getting out and about. We run a variety of social and active outings like going to the footy, fishing trips, hikes, gym sessions, group lunches, and weekend adventures. These activities are designed to boost confidence, improve social skills, encourage healthy routines, and create a strong sense of belonging. Clients benefit by being part of a supportive crew, developing independence, and having a good time doing the things they love – with likeminded mates.

Individual Support
Youth Behaviour Support & Mentoring

1
School Engagement Support
We work alongside schools, families, and the young males to increase classroom participation and educational outcomes. This can include in-class assistance to help with focus and behaviour, or structured activities outside the classroom to build practical life skills, confidence, and motivation — all with the goal of improving the young person’s re-engagement in their school program.
2
Community-Based Skill Building
Our mentors take youth into the community to develop essential skills for independence. From using public transport and handling money to building social communication and teamwork through sports or group activities, we create opportunities for young people to learn in real-world environments.
3
Positive Male Mentorship
We provide consistent, relatable male role models who guide and inspire young males to make positive choices. Through one-on-one mentoring, goal setting, and structured routines, we help young people develop resilience, respect, and a sense of purpose that extends beyond the program.

I recommend anyone needing male Peer Mentors to get in touch with Next Level Mates. They go above and beyond to ensure their NDIS participants are supported and think outside the box to implement support for positive outcomes.

The Reason We Started Next Level Mates
We started Next Level Mates to fill a gap we saw in the disability support industry — the lack of genuine social connection, particularly for males. Too often, we saw clients who were isolated and missing out on the friendships, community, and everyday experiences that help people thrive. Our goal was to create a service that not only offered support, but also built real mateship and shared moments.
As we worked in the industry, we discovered another major gap: the need for strong male mentoring for youth with behavioural challenges. In particular, schools and families were seeking role models who could help young people engage in education, develop life skills, and transition confidently into adulthood. In response, we expanded into this niche to meet that demand and make a lasting difference.
